Anonymous Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data, including:

• Screen views and navigation patterns
• Feature usage (e.g., which reading types are popular)
• App performance metrics (crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics)
• Device type, operating system version, and app version

This data is collected using a randomly generated anonymous identifier. It is not linked to your name, email, or any personally identifiable information.

Tarot Reading Data

When you request a tarot reading, the following information is sent to our servers (Firebase Cloud Functions) for processing:

• Your tarot question text
• The selected card name and orientation (upright or reversed)
• Your device language preference

This data is sent to Google's Gemini AI service to generate your reading. It is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers. We do not retain, log, or associate your questions with any identifier.

User Preferences

Your settings (such as music and sound preferences) are stored locally on your device using DataStore. This data never leaves your device.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number
• We do not collect your location
• We do not store the content of your tarot questions on our servers
• We do not collect photos, contacts, or other personal data

3. How We Use Information

We use anonymous analytics data solely to:

• Understand how the app is used so we can improve the experience
• Identify and fix crashes and performance issues
• Make informed decisions about future features

4. Third-Party Services

Magic AI Tarot uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics (Google) - anonymous usage analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google) - crash reporting
• Firebase Cloud Functions (Google) - server-side processing of tarot reading requests
• Google Gemini AI (Google) - AI-powered tarot card interpretation generation

These services may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms of Service.

5. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained in Firebase for up to 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Local preferences remain on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.

6. Children's Privacy

Magic AI Tarot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Your Choices

• You can limit ad tracking and analytics collection through your device's privacy settings
• You can delete all local data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data
• On Android, you can reset your advertising identifier in device settings
• On iOS, you can enable "Limit Ad Tracking" or use App Tracking Transparency controls

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
